Casa Fuente de Gallo 2 – Urbanización Fuente del Gallo – (Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz)
Located in Fuente del Gallo, Conil de la Frontera, this Mediterranean-style residence has been designed to embrace the climate, landscape, and relaxed coastal lifestyle that define the Costa de la Luz. Just minutes from the beach, the house combines timeless architecture, natural materials, and carefully designed outdoor spaces to create a private retreat closely connected to its surroundings.
The project is organised around a series of outdoor living areas that become an integral part of daily life. A private courtyard, landscaped gardens, and a swimming pool create a sequence of spaces that encourage living outdoors throughout much of the year. Rather than functioning as separate elements, the house, garden, and exterior living areas are conceived as a unified environment shaped by light, shade, vegetation, and the rhythms of coastal living.
A palette of natural stone, white rendered walls, and Mediterranean planting reinforces the character of the home while establishing a sense of permanence and authenticity. The architecture draws inspiration from traditional Mediterranean houses, prioritising proportion, comfort, and a strong relationship with the landscape over short-lived trends. Mature planting and carefully designed garden spaces provide privacy and create the feeling of a secluded oasis within the residential setting of Fuente del Gallo.
Large openings frame views of the garden and connect the principal living spaces to the terraces and pool, allowing interior and exterior spaces to function together. Throughout the house, natural light plays a central role, enhancing the warmth of materials and strengthening the connection between architecture and landscape.
Designed as a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean coastal architecture, the residence offers a balance between privacy, outdoor living, and proximity to the sea. The result is a home that reflects the character of Conil de la Frontera and the Costa de la Luz, creating a place where architecture, nature, and everyday life exist in harmony.
